![]() ![]() To turn off this feature, do the same thing but un-check the box. Check the box that says "require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete". Right down the bottom there should be a title "Secure Logon". When this window appears, click on the advanced tab. Open the Start Menu and type netplwiz then press enter. When the secure logon is enabled, no other program can intercept your username and password as you enter them. ![]() This is a way to ensure that the authentic Windows logon screen appears. But this one isn't to stop the hackers, but rather viruses and malware. It looks pointless, right? I guess you are wondering how it works and what security measures this plays?
